West Chester BID Project
We are happy to be collaborating with the West Chester Business Improvement District to produce a video representing the heart of the West Chester Borough.
Chester County Community Foundation
We are proud to have been included in the Chester County Community Foundation’s 2010 Legacy Awards ceremony this week. The short documentary we created and co-produced was presented at the Emilie K. Asplundh Theater at WCU in honor of the Foundation’s founding chair, Dr. Henry A. Jordan, and all of their past Jordan Award winners. Find out more about the Foundation’s extraordinary work here.
It’s Not Mean to be Green
It was a year ago when we started working on It’s Not Mean to be Green, the book-based children’s musical that teaches kids in basic terms what it means to “go green”. Earlier that year, Jamie Kleman, the Executive Producer of the show, learned that the historic DuPont Theatre in Wilmington, DE had chosen her book to be adapted to the stage. For more than six months, TribeSound spent hundreds of studio hours with more than thirty local musicians to bring Jamie’s ideas to life in musical form. The play’s premiere at DuPont on April 18th, 2010 and the several shows that followed received an amazing response. Since then, the show has been booking shows all throughout the region and is now in this year’s Grammy ballot box for Best Musical Show Album! Find out more at itsnotmeantobegreen.com.
And… the story of Jamie and TribeSound doesn’t end here. Keep your eyes and ears open for the next project that is in the works!
Windish Music Productions at Hersheypark
Although we didn’t have much time for roller coasters, we had a great time shooting the award winning performers of Windish Music Productions at Hersheypark last Friday. We filmed the musical and theatrical performances of the Cocoa Rhythm Factory, Ed-Zoo-Cation, Frontier Frenzy, and The Chocolate Covered Band. We commend these guys and girls who worked nonstop through the whole summer. We wish them good all luck in their contest!
